New Red Deer Water Ramp Goes Up !!

General Information:

The water ramp program gives athletes the opportunity to learn and qualify inverts and uprights in water, and on the trampoline SAFELY.

Open Ramp Days:

Open Ramp days are for all athletes interested in learning, and improving their jumping skills safely.

Coaching will be offered at two stations trampoline (Sat/Sun) and water ramp (floater, single & double kicker).

Qualification:

To encourage safety and reduce the elements of risk that affect the training of aerial maneuvers involved in Freestyle Skiing the Canadian Freestyle Skiing Association (CFSA) has developed a qualification process for qualifying aerial maneuvers (this includes all inverted maneuvers in all disciplines).  For more information on the qualification process please ask your coach or refer to the Aerial Regulations and Qualification Procedures Manual (ARQ Manual).  There are no designated qualification days. Qualification will be performed when the coach determines that the athlete is ready to qualify the maneuver.

It is highly recommended that athletes attend Open Ramp Days to safely learn maneuvers prior to Qualification.

ATHLETES ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE QUALIFIED FOR A MANEUVER IF THE COACH FEELS THE MANEUVER CANNOT BE SAFELY PERFORMED.
